Terms & Conditions
Last updated 3 June 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the nutritional therapy and wellness services provided by Zara Estelle Co (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Practitioner”) to you (the “Client”). By booking a consultation, completing our intake questionnaire, or using this website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Our service
We provide personalised nutritional therapy and lifestyle guidance intended to support general health and wellbeing. Nutritional therapy is a complementary approach and is not a substitute for conventional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or claim to prevent any disease, illness, or medical condition, and nothing we provide should be interpreted as doing so.
2. Not medical advice
Information and recommendations we provide are for educational and wellbeing purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. You should not stop, start, or change any prescribed medication or medical treatment based on our guidance without first consulting your GP or relevant healthcare professional. Always seek the advice of a suitably qualified medical professional regarding any medical condition or symptom. In a medical emergency, call 999 or NHS 24 on 111.
3. Professional standards
Zara Estelle Co is a registered member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and practises in accordance with the BANT Code of Professional Practice and Ethics, within our scope of competence. Where appropriate, and only with your consent, we may recommend that you consult, or that we liaise with, your GP or another healthcare professional.
4. Your responsibilities
The success and safety of nutritional therapy depend on the information you provide. You agree to give full, accurate, and honest information about your health, medical history, symptoms, medications, and supplements, and to keep us informed of any changes. You are responsible for any decisions you make and any action you take based on our guidance, and for checking that any recommended foods or supplements are suitable for you (including allergies and intolerances).
5. Supplements and products
We may suggest food supplements or products. Any such recommendation is made in good faith and at your discretion. You should check suitability with your GP or pharmacist, particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication, or have an existing health condition. We are not responsible for products purchased from third parties.
6. No guarantee of results
Individual responses to nutrition and lifestyle change vary. We cannot and do not guarantee any specific outcome or result from our services.
7. Fees, booking and payment
Fees for consultations and programmes are as set out at the time of booking. Payment terms will be confirmed when you book. Unless stated otherwise, payment is due in advance of, or at the time of, your appointment.
8. Cancellations and missed appointments
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less notice, or missed appointments without notice, may be charged in full. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment; if we do, we will offer you an alternative time or a refund of any fee paid for that appointment.
9. Your right to cancel (distance contracts)
Where you purchase services from us online or otherwise at a distance, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel within 14 days of entering the contract. If you ask us to begin providing services during this period, you may be required to pay for services provided up to the point you cancel, and you lose the right to cancel once the services have been fully performed. To cancel, contact us using the details below.
10. Confidentiality and your data
We treat your personal and health information as confidential and handle it in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please see our Privacy & Data Notice for full details of how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, and your rights in respect of it.
11. Intellectual property
All materials we provide — including plans, written guidance, and the content of this website — remain our intellectual property and are provided for your personal use only. They may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without our written permission.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of our services where it was not a foreseeable result of our breach, or which results from your failure to follow guidance or to provide accurate information. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these Terms.
13. Complaints
We aim to provide a caring, professional service. If you are unhappy about any aspect of it, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. If your concern relates to our professional conduct and cannot be resolved with us directly, you may raise it with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT).
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one in force at the time you book or use our services. The current version is always available on this page.
15. Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or our services, are governed by the law of Scotland and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
